Pad printing is probably the most versatile and durable printing process in use around. At this moment in time it's a fair chance you have a pad printed item in front of you, keyboards and computer mice are commonplace items that are frequently pad printed and truly demonstrate how durable this process can be. The process works like this. 1:- We created an etched printing plate for each of the colors you require printing. 2:- The plates are installed in the machine, flooded with ink and all surplus wiped off. 3:- A silicon pad picks up the ink left in the etched image, carries it forward and deposits it on the item being printed. It is the flexibility of this silicon pad that makes this such a versatile process; being very soft it can just mold itself around whatever is being printed. In fact the only real limitations of this system are size and the item being printed must be non porous. Examples of items we can print in our Nelson factory include :- Pens and Stationery products, Drink Bottles, Lip Balm, Key tags, Sunscreens, Cleaning Products, Sweets and Mints, Memo holders, Pocket knives and Bottle openers, Stubby holders, Sunglasses,, Golf tees, markers and balls, Calculators, MP3 players, USB Flash drives, Torches, Clocks............... the list is as long as your imagination.
